I enjoyed the cozy and rustic, medieval air specific also to the city. It s easy to find and close to the stronghold center. The hosts are kind and hospitable. They speak English so my dutch boyfriend was delighted to exchange a couple of words of praise with them. Our room(the standard double room - loft) was cozy and cool after a train ride and visiting the city. The breakfast is also delicious, they offer delicious traditional food as well.

Sighisoara is a walled medieval city with beautiful architecture. The Sighisoara Hotel serves absolutely wonderful food all day. You can easily walk the whole city. I would not go to the Dracula room, which is a hokey haunted house-type thing with bats and a vampire that sits up in his coffin. I was hoping for a history of Vlad Dracul.

I love the citadel and I always go back with excitement. Just to walk around, climb up to the church and admire the view, visit the Clock Tower, and hang around in this lovely part of the city is great. A lot of cozy terraces full of good places to eat and have a beer makes me come back every other year.

This is a wonderful city to explore for the history and the great food options. The cobble stone streets, the old fortress, multiple churches, and museums offer many places to explore on foot. The restaurant selection is excellent. We enjoyed every restaurant we visited and felt the food, service, and quality were outstanding.

The old city with its towers (Clock Tower, Tinsmiths' Tower, Butchers' Tower, Tailors' Tower, Furriers' Tower, Ironsmiths' Tower etc), as well as the wooden staircase are something you should not miss. The old city starts at 5 minutes walking distance from Binderbubi Hotel. You can spend there about one-two hours (depending on your schedule) and thereafter you can stop to eat something at one of the restaurants in the area. We opted for Gasthouse Altepost.

Sighişoara is utterly charming.
Sighişoara is utterly charming. A truly beautiful small town full of bright, colourful, historical architecture. Around every corner is another pretty cobbled lane filled with picture-perfect painted buildings. The crowning glory is its 14th Century Clock Tower.
We visited out of season (early Oct 2023) and it was perfect. Lovely blue skies, warm enough to walk around without a coat during the day but cool in the evenings. At night we'd wrap up warm so we could sit outside to eat and take in the beautiful town. The food is hearty and the restaurants we visited provided blankets for those sat outside.
We stayed for 2 nights in the old town and wish we could have stayed longer. Most people only visit for a few hours because it's tiny but for us, we were so glad we didn't do this, we like to travel slower than most.
I would love to return to this beautiful town.
This was the best experience I have ever had in Romania! The host - Sebastian - was extremly nice and helpful!!! He served me with a welcoming drink, he gave me all the information I needed and even more - thanks to him I have new objectives to visit in Romania. The apartment was very nice and clean, had a lot of staff that you need in the kitchen. The hotel is very close to the historic center and was even better than in the photoes.
I will definetly come back here again.
Absolutely beautiful rooms, and the staff (especially Sutru, who checked us in) was first rate. Sutru was truly one of the most friendly & happy people I have met in my travels. The hotel had been a private residence and has only been open as a hotel for about a year. All new fixtures & furniture, and a pool table for extra fun. The owner was friendly & explained the transition from residence to hotel in detail. This hotel is a real gem.
Super-Hosts (including here also the Cat !) in a Super-Location (the Best I can think of, when visiting Sighisoara).
If you are a Big fan of the Ultra-all-inclusive-turkish-style 5*+++ hotels, just Don't go there ...
Otherwise, it is the Best option you can find, Unbeatable in chapters such as "Historical information", "Cultural information" and "Practical information for a successful holiday" :)
This was my 2nd stay at Hotel Claudia and both of my visits were outstanding. The entire staff is very professional and helpful in every way.
Please forgive me for not remembering the names of some of the staff but I like to mention a special thank you to Denisa who made my check-in easy fast and smooth. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who plans on visiting Sighisoara.
The hotel exceeded my expectations. The old world charm of the hotel and its location to all the tourist spots was perfect. Car parking was behind the hotel and easy to locate. The restaurant in the hotel is where we had our breakfast and dinner, the food was good and tasty. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to spend a few days in Sighisoara.
Fantastic location, right in the heart of the old city of Sighisoara (couldn't be closer to the tower, great view while having breakfast). The hotel is located in the beautifully renovated historical building. Each room is unique and tastefully decorated with antics. The hosts are thoughtful and available. We really enjoyed our stay there!
The apartment was equipped better than we expected. Everything was new. Very high standard. Check in was very easy, the owner send us the door code in text message. There is a free parking near the bulding. Few steps from the old town, very nice view from window. If you want to visit Sighisoara this is your place
Neat and quiet accommodation. The hotel is located uptown in Sighisoara right in the middle of the old city center. Cars need to be parked downhill - which is not complicated, yet requires payment and a 3 minutes walk to the hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks for the easy check-in in the late evening!
Hotel Casa Wagner offers a prime location in the heart of Sighişoara's historic center, just a short walk from the Clock Tower and the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler (Țepeș). With its friendly staff, spotless rooms, and satisfying breakfast, it's the perfect base for exploring this charming town.
We’ll be coming back! This hotel is in a great location, we walked everywhere and you can visit the whole city without driving. The staff was curteous and nice, room was clean, breakfast very good. Also the patio/ restaurant staff are very nice. A great experience. And free parking :))
Excellent location - a very short walk from the centre of Sighisoara. Free private parking. Our room at the front of the hotel met our needs well (during the annual medieval festival which we highly recommend) - but not sure that other rooms were as good.
The hotel was very close to the train station and tourist spots. The room was very clean, spacious and quiet. The owner of the property was superb and very accomodating. He even gave us free drop off to the train station. It was indeed a best stay ever.
The property is in the vicinity of all the places you will want to visit in Sighisoara. That is ideed lovely. Also what made us choose that hotel in the first place, was that they allow dogs so that’s great. Other than that, it was quiet and peaceful.
The hotel staff was great, position of the hotel is great, only 8 minutes walk to the citadel, breakfast was great, they were very nice with our Pomeranian small puppy, very welcoming and the room was according to the description and photos.
This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of historic Sighisoara.
Delightful and welcoming staff, gorgeous and comfortable rooms, and delicious breakfast.
The hotel’s parking right out front is an added bonus (rare in Sighisoara)!
The hotel is a beautiful old medieval building in the heart of Sighisoara. The location is amazing and staying in such an authentic building felt like it added to the experience of visiting this amazing old town.
The hotel is near the Citadel. The breakfast was very good with Romanian traditional homemade products. The room was big enough and it was cleaned every day.
