Surfside Resort, hotel in Rockaway Beach

Located on Rockaway Beach, this oceanfront hotel features an indoor heated pool and offers guest rooms with free Wi-Fi. Manhattan Beach State Park is less than a mile away.

The beach access, price and it was clean. I slept decent and the shower was short but I'm short so I felt like a normal hight person lol. The towels are soft and they didn't use that scratchy toilet paper like a lot of other places do.

Silver Sands, hotel in Rockaway Beach

This beachfront property offers cable TV in each room at Silver Sands. A microwave, refrigerator, and coffee machine are featured in each room. All rooms feature ocean/sea view.

The room was large enough to move around in without tripping over each other, the beds were large and comfortable, and the room and bathroom were clean. The location was excellent; we could walk to almost everywhere we needed to go. Parking was good. Access to the beach was good, and we had a good (partial, as advertised) view of the beach.

Tradewinds Motel, hotel in Rockaway Beach

Only 50 feet from 7 miles of sandy beach, this oceanfront motel is 4 miles from Nehalem Bay State Park. A private balcony and free Wi-Fi are included in each guest room.

The room was clean and easy to access from the parking lot. The hotel is very close to the main road and easy to find when you arrive. We checked in about 15 minutes before they closed and the office and the receptionist was very helpful. The hotel has a wooden staircase down to the beach.

    Great little town.

Great little town. Can walk pretty much everywhere you need to go. Restaurants, shopping and to the beach. Not nearly as crowded as some of the bigger towns with everything you need. Also short jaunts if you wanna go up or down the coast.

It was the perfect spot to lay my head for a couple nights.

It was the perfect spot to lay my head for a couple nights. My family was camping down the road at the Barview Jetty Campground. Since I'm not big on tent camping I opted to stay at the Surfside Resort. So, I could explore with them by day. We took the train tour to Garibaldi, walked the beach and had a delicious lunch at Beach Bites and Dos Rocas. The service was wonderful! Once the sunset we roasted marshmallows for s'mores tat theri campsite hen watched for shooting stars. Then ole Auntie headed to her room at the Surfside Resort scoring the last parking spot both nights. Whoop! It's a very popular motel.

I have loved Rockaway Beach from the first moment I drove through on my way home from visiting family. It's very quiet and not too touristy. I stayed there for the first time last week and got to spend some time walking around. Pronto pup was fun and I learned where corn dogs were invented. Of course I tried one too and it was probably the best corn dog I ever had. Next trip I want to try a train ride. I shopped at Flamingo Jim's and it had a lot of interesting things to see and buy with reasonable prices. The Beachside bake shop was great and I had eggs benedict at Grumpy's on my way out of town because it is the best anywhere.

    The location is amazing!

The location is amazing! Small town, beautiful clean beaches! A great getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life! The full kitchen helps offset the cost of the hotel, which is a little pricey if you bring pets. Overall, Surfside Resort Motel is a great place to stay in Rockaway Beach! This is my second time staying here, and I would and do recommend this motel!

Although the motel was an ‘older’ property, it was perfect for our needs. The staff were nice and the upstairs room with the kitchenette unit was excellent! Rockaway Beach is a beautiful, sandy beach where you can walk or sit for hours and watch the sunset. The location was perfect for exploring other beaches north and south!

There is so much to do in Rockaway and the surrounding communities. We visited Garibaldi and the marina and fishing dock. Walked the beach at Twin Rocks, where there is a small creek flowing to the ocean and perfect for littles to play in the water. We visited Kelly's Marina just north and got fresh crab. A dock was available for both fishing and crabbing and they had an outdoor fire pit to warm up. We ran out of time but there were a couple businesses I wanted to visit: The little white church antique store, the water drops outdoor yard art store, and Pronto pups food stop.

Easy location - just down the street to Rockaway Beach and downtown area. There were 3 separate rooms (which I couldn't tell from the pictures). We especially liked the separation from the master suite/bathroom as we had parents with a baby - but no disturbance at all. Also, we really liked that everything in the beachouse was for our use! Generously decorated and plenty of amenities. Finally, accommodated pets - which was much appreciated.

This is a budget motel. We had a suite with a bedroom and then a second queen-sized bed in the larger room with a kitchenette and a table. Everything was clean. Nothing was super fancy, but that is what we wanted. The hotel faces the beach. The beach itself is fabulous. The tiny downtown was very near to the hotel, making it easy to go out to eat, get ice cream, and take a train ride to Garibaldi.

I've been going to the beach in the month of March for years now as it is my birthday month. We started at Seaside and felt driven out by the cost of hotels and the large amount of people. We then decided Rockaway was more fitting for us. We fell in love with Surfside Resort and the town of Rockaway. We will continue to return to this gem of a town and support this local community.

The location is amazing. You literally walk out your back door and onto the beach. The views of the ocean are exceptional. The floorplan is great. Rockaway Beach is also a very relaxing town to stay on the Oregon coast. This is our second time staying here and likely not our last.

The staff was pleasant. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a mini fridge and microwave, which I did not expect. Cable tv with hbo. It's an older Coastal hotel. It's not high end and the value is amazing! There's easy access to the beach. We would definitely stay again!
